ICE!

We went to see ICE! at the Gaylord Texan Hotel in Grapevine, TX.  ICE! was an amazing display of ice sculptures.  Its a reoccurring exhibit, with a different theme every year.  This years theme was the Charlie Brown Christmas.
The exhibit was in tents outside of the hotel, but was kept at a chilling 9 degrees Fahrenheit!  Yes it was a bit cold.  Fortunately they provided parkas to help keep us from getting to cool.  The exhibit took us through scenes of the Charlie Brown Story.  And, if you have ever seen the show, which about everyone has at one time or another, can immediately remember these parts of the story, and probably even the dialog that goes along with each scene.  And yes, these are all completely made from ice.

What a great time with the family.  Just about the time we were getting a little chilly, the end came, and there was a beautiful ice carving of a nativity scene.
After this our cheeks were rosy, and noses were cold, so we headed out and went home.
